  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 clove minced garlic

I’ve never been a fan of salmon, but decided to give it a try since it’s super healthy to consume. This recipe is shockingly delicious and keeps you full until snack time.  I hope you enjoy it!

Healthy Habits

After a long day at work, most people just want to relax and unwind at home.  For some that means spending time in the kitchen cooking a delicious meal.  If you’re like me, it means grabbing something quick to munch on and snuggling under a blanket with a good book.  Unfortunately, most of the quick options aren’t the healthiest.  This week I tried a fresh stir-fry that only takes ten minutes to whip up.

Chicken Teriyaki Stir-fry

  • olive oil
  • chicken breast
  • Teriyaki sauce
  • onion
  • bell peppers
  • celery
  • kidney beans
  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet.
  2. Add chicken and Teriyaki sauce.  Cook until it’s no longer pink inside.
  3. Add the vegetables and cook until tender.
  4. Enjoy!

What’s your favourite quick dinner recipe?

Nail Files

I haven’t been sure what to do with my sparkly red nail colour lately.  I felt it was too festive to wear unless it’s Christmas season.  When I stumbled upon my navy blue polish I figured it would look more nautical than festive.  What’s your take on my colour choices?

Nail Files

With anticipation for spring to arrive I chose a pretty pastel to polish my nails with.  Keeping in mind that Old Man Winter is still kicking around (he sure made is presence felt today) I added a metallic gold tip.

Treat of the Week!

This weekend was spent catching up with family, and what better way than to converse over dessert and hot chocolate at Calories?  I indulged in a slice of Chocolate Celebration Cake!  What’s your go to sweet treat?
